Thwarts/ Bars: Decks and seats:- Premium maple and yellow birch.
Gunwales: Select spruce. Stems: Red and white oak.

The Blomidon is a great tandem paddler suited for short trips or day paddling. The flat bottom allows paddlers to explore sbetter we are presently renovating our site. This model follows the tradition of Canadian Shield canoes. The sharp entries, shallow arched hull and extra depth make it capable of handling rough lake and river waters. Designed as a tandem tripper, this canoe is excellent for solo wilderness travel.
